That looks like Times Square. I am just amazed at both the similarities and the differences between Marrakesh and New York City. You are fortunate to spend so much time in both places.

Oh now I'm so hungry!!! I think I ate shwerma at least 10 times the last trip! But our shwerma hot spot is up a little bit from here. The waitress/boss lady lol is Ayesha and she knows me now haha. Very cool picture!

Elizabeth, I love your blog and your photos.

Thank you so much for visiting NYC Daily Photo. If you are still in town this Friday or Saturday, maybe we can meet for lunch or coffee. Paz in invited, of course.

Great photo! It makes me feel like I'm right there looking down on the street scene.

This is torture: I am counting the days before coming/going to Marrakech again! (21 days to go!)

Love this photo! I went to you Flickr page to see it larger....I wanted to see what the women were wearing. It is interesting the juxtaposition of modern dress with the traditional long robes. And I see Coca Cola is everywhere! Pepsi Cola was the one I saw everywhere I looked when I was in Jordan many years ago.
