This is derb Dabachi looking relatively peaceful. Sometimes it is so filled up with motos and donkey carts, bicycles and people that it's impossible to get down at all and we have to walk out to Douar Groua. Derb Djedid is just a little further on and to the right.

Between Essouira and Marrakech

The seaside is all wide pale beaches, blue skies and white buildings. Marrakesh is crowded and pink and red. The journey by car between the two takes about two and a half hours and is mostly stony desert. You pass through little dusty towns and pass a gigantic cement factory.
