For some reason, this pic reaches the soul! Perhaps it is the loneness of a white robed figure. Perhaps it is the shadowy tunnel. Perhaps it is the question that seems to filter through...Who is that man?
This walkway looks so "touchable". I love that texture.
Also brings up thoughts of being "here" and getting "there" and what we have to go through to accomplish that goal. AND.....that it must be done alone.
What an incredibly evocative image, Elizabeth. One wants to follow him, find out where he goes, also to know what lies at the end of the tunnel. Brilliant shot. Off to take a look at your pics on Flickr now :-)
Thanks so much for your visit. Your blog is wonderful. I went back and looked through your other as well. What an adventure you've had. I love moroccan style.
It would be fun for us as readers if you now wrote about your new life in New York.
So many beautiful photos of everyday life, I myself has just started to enjoy taking photos when I travel on real people not just things or my lovely family, if you visit my blog I show photos from Vietnam today:-

Just love it!
Greyscale.
I think he was just a local man on his way to the mosque. The photo was taken just outside our front door.
I would like a peek into his mind.....
