Buying Food

Larkspur and roses early in the morning at the covered market near the metalworkers' square.

The butcher was happy to pose in his shop. His turkey sausages are delicious.

My favorite place to buy fruit and vegetables.
It's all astoundingly fresh and plentiful.

You can buy chickens there too and rabbits and fish.

Lots of the stalls have hand-painted signs.

Here the light shines through the slats onto the workers' bikes and mopeds.

The photos are excellent and I can just imagine the scene...a market filled with people choosing their fresh food for the day. That's a beautiful display of vegetables and fruits.

Shopping for food was definitely one of my favourite things to do while I was in Morocco. Just looking at all that the stalls offered was fun. :)

I love how you photograph seemingly common stuff like vegetables and chickens and butchers, and they turn out beautiful.
