A Very Blue Sky

Looking up from the courtyard...........you can just see the very smallest part of the olive tree on the roof.

On a much cloudier day looking upwards...........

and a view from the roof itself. So much time spent studying the sky and enjoying the light.
In the evenings the swifts would circle eating mosquitos and then later the bats would swoop down--then one would know it was supper time.

It amazes me how subtle the change in light is where ever you travel - before I visited New York, I was convinced everywhere would have a yellow hue, probably because of the diference in film used on american tv programmes to british! and I thought Morocco would be very redish light...

I love looking at the sky wherever I go. I think it's the best pictures I take on my trips, whether it's nighttime on the ocean in the Caribbean, or high noon in South America. Nice pictures!
