At the Jardin Majorelle/Friday

I think a visit to the Jardin Majorelle should come top of the list
of places to visit on your weekend break to Marrakech

Even the little ticket office has bags of charm.....

and introduces you to bleu Majorelle and the yellow and the green.....

the colors are what blow you away.....

even the very young are enchanted.....

by the fishes in the water and the trees reflected from above

a nasturtium and that blue again

 Ah!

and the palm trees with the wispy white clouds.......

I really, really, really love your blog. I studied Middle Eastern History and the rise of Islam in college and your blog is so alive, beautiful, and helps fight fear. Wow!

I have just come across your blog and the timing couldn't be more perfect. Having just finished reading "The Saffron Gate" by Linda Holeman (sent to me by Sempiterna Me) I have an absolute yearning to go back to Morocco - and in particular Jardin Majorelle. Thanks for taking me there - you've just made my day!

I just wrote about you and Morocco Mama.wordpress.com at my blog because i love both your blogs equally much, and they both help to undermine the fear that many westerners have towards the Middle East :) Lots of hugs from Norway :)
