Rabbits and Other Animals

The original Garden of Eden was an orchard.
However, I don't think this Eden has snakes in it.
At least I hope not.

The rabbits live in a big mud-brick house and run around looking cheerful.
They like to pose for the camera.
Especially the brown one lower right who thinks this is his best profile.

The peacocks wander amongst the olive trees behind the geranium hedge.

I think there are nine of them altogether. The guinea fowl didn't get their photos taken.

I waited for a long time but the peacocks would only display their tails when I wasn't anywhere near them...........

Mrs. Duck has six little ones.

Another shot of the rabbits.

Mrs. Duck meet Mr.Peacock...........

This last picture is Blinky, daughter of Mimi (our cat who is in the title box of this blog). Blinky is just over a year old and lives with her sister, Bisou, in this wonderful garden. They were very lucky to get adopted by such a nice family.
A much happier environment for cats than the medina.

I don't know why, but the pictures of the bunnies totally cracked me up! There are so many and they all look like they are posing for their picture! LOL!

Awwww, I love cats. It always broke my heart to see how they are treated in the Middle East. If I ever go back to live in Syria I will most likely become the Mad Cat Woman of Damascus...

I'm not sure how rabbits can look happy, but those certainly do! Fun pix.

Talk about a menagerie! The bunnies are adorable....and the brown one does indeed look like he is striking a pose.

What interesting coloration on that duck, too.

Is this paradise your garden? Wow, how lovely. I don't know if I would like so many rabbits, thought! :)

Looking forward to seeing a wonderful dessert plate from Marrakesh at our "Dessert Carnival"... hurry and send your photograph, you still have until April 30th.

Have a wonderful day

What I love about visiting your blog is that I never know what will come next - but it is always charming, a lovely moment, no matter what else is going on in my day.

Love all the animals, but that one bunny stole my heart(the one who poses:-). Thanks for that.

Oh, my heart melted at the sight of Blinky...what a sweet face!

And I love that garden of eden; it looks like a great place to spend a hot afternoon, among the shade trees waiting for the peacocks to strut their stuff properly.

That is quite a herd of rabbits...well I guess "herd" is not the right term...but anyway, there sure are a lot of them!
