Saturday was the last day of I.'s visit so we rushed about looking at things.
This is a door in the harem courtyard at the Musee Dar Said. One of the guards let down a little chain and let us look into the hidden part of the palace which must have been the home of a very rich man. All I could think of was how beautifully decorated the place was and how perfectly awful it must have been to be trapped in there.
This is the part of Cafe France where you can have meals. The decor - rather pink with artificial flowers - is oddly appealing and hasn't changed much for a very long time.
Bert Flint has the sort of house we wish we had - down a very quiet street, with two courtyards, lots of plants and odd artifacts with amazing designs.

Hi Elizabeth,
thank you for visiting my blog and leaving the kind comments!
I am glad you did, because that way I found your blog again, which looks very different from the one I had in my (now lost) favorites file! I like the new look, your photos are beautiful, so many of them worthy of a frame.
You are so kind!
I have 2 blogs - this one which is mostly photos and the
ewix.wordpress.com one which doesn't do photos so well.
We have just got back from a week in Florence which was stunningly beautiful.
Some photos will be posted here pretty soon.
Best wishes

I adore Moroccan sense for colors. And this door... what a beautiful patina of past happiness on it!
Marrakesh seems to be the beautiful history Museum.
From Japan.
Greetings.
