Hats in the Hall

You need a selection of hats in Marrakech - the sun would burn the top of your head.
Here an impressive collection belonging to an elegant friend of ours.
Note the pointy toed slippers below.

A staircase decorated with that Majorelle blue and lanterns.

And light falling on the upstairs landing.

Love the white hats framed by those wonderful tiles.

That staircase is nice, too!

Love that staircase. With each post I visit I'm wondering if it will be the last...Hope you have a big stockpile of photos to keep going for quite a while!

Those ARE elegant looking hats....and the stairway is beautiful. I love those blue-painted niches in the wall and the railing painted to match too.

Elizabeth, I absolutely love the shot of the hats in the hall. I wonder if the world would be a different place if people had to wear beautiful hats like that all the time? Just make people slow down a bit before they rush out the door ..... Roxanne

I notice that Moroccons love lots of blue and everything is so colourful. Fabulous as usual, hugs always :)

Those hats remind me of a place we went to in Essaouira, forgot the name of it now, it has a shop (with hats!), a restaurant, and bar on the top floor with live music.

These hats are elegant. In my head I picture somebody walking with a stick and such a hat nodding friendly to passersby
