Shadow Shot Sunday/From the Archives

A visit in June to the Bahia palace where the light hits the plasters work and the fruit trees are reflected on the carved wood.

Two more of the same..............

An extra shadowy one...........

Derb Djedid just outside our front door with no one there............

The same with neighborhood children and one of their mothers.

Hi There! Just came across your blog and this is the first post I read. I love the pictures so far and I am sure gonna read everything you guys posted.

I am originally from Brazil, but for some reason I have a passion for the Middle East culture, architecture and music.

I will keep making my comments.

Take care,

Ale

What beautiful elegant architecture!! with the green of the fruit trees against, and the shadows, nice pics. I love the bottom 2 especially, so narrow, yet lots of interesting bits to look at. :0)

Yay for your archives! I adore those last two photos, especially the second last one. I'd love to be able to open my front door to a view like that! I'm sure the current view from your New York door is more interesting than mine also :)

I love all these pics! But the detail on the walls in the first pic is just exquisite! And the shadow effects give them all so much mood and personality! What a beautiful place!
