Light at Midday

The light in the suqs would be unbearably bright without the coverings which cause light to slant.

Scarves and slippers to fill your dreams.

I like the round toes slippers best but chic people go for the pointy ones.

In the Mellah market light falls on mopeds and plastic containers and makes even the mundane look romantic and enticing.

Ooooo...love those interesting slippers! Do you have a pair? They're artsy!

I love the light flowing through the slats. And I'd go for the pointy slippers ones as long as I don't have to walk too far. Or maybe I'd wear the round toe ones until I get to where I need to be and then change into the pointy toe ones ;-)

I love all the colors under the stripped shadows. Lovely photos.

Beautiful pictures & tricky conditions too. One of the things I love about the movie "Casablanca" is the beautiful effects of sunlight slanting through the shutters....takes my breath away every time.

I like the round toes ones too. I just got back from Marrakech a few weeks ago, I have a few pics up on my blog from that very medina that you'll probably recognize.
