Doors Again

Some of my large collection of door pictures.......there are lots more to come.
This door - with attandant bicycle is quite near the new swanky restaurant called "Fondook" - sort of near the Musee de Marrakech.

This is in Gueliz - some of you may recognize the pretty glass - but here you can see the fragrant little white flowers from the tree that scents the air.

This is an ugly metal door with graffitti.

This is also up in Gueliz - it was part of a picture of a cafe, but I liked the colors.

A most unusual white door. It is opposite where all the carpets are displayed on the wall near the Bahia Palace. It's the only white door I can think of in the medina.
Write and tell me if you find another one.......

Oooo... I love these. Doors are so symbolic... so many possibilities behind them.

I love interesting doors. I wish I saw more on my day-to-day walks. I'll have to start looking when I am out and about.

I'm definitely a 'door' person!

Wow, I am surprised to see that Marrakesh has grafitti. Maybe one of the members of my local 'painting' club was there for a visit.

I love doors. Took pictures of all kind of them when we were in Italy last year (American doors are boringly drab in comparison).

I especially love that first photo- with the row of skewed tiles above.

I really love that white door....I can't quite tell if it is pierced with holes or painted with black dots? But if those are holes, how wonderful it must look from the inside with the light streaming in through the piercings!

Oh lovely elisabeth I love doors. Especially the top one is very nice.
(My friend is waiting for the information about how long she stays in Marakesh. They travel in a group. If she got plenty of free time she will be delighted to contact you. Thanks)

I love that top door. The photo is great.
Let me know if you want to do an all doors day. I'd love to join in.

I like all the doors. It's like they have different characters. ;-)

Jennifer and Frank -
how about a doors day next Wednesday 12th?
I will try to alert various chums and anyone else from the blogosphere.
It would be fun.
You do the same.......
ps.do you know how I can allow blogger to let anyone - not just blogger people - post comments on the blog.
I am a techno idiot.

Hi Elizabeth, I could probably come up with something by next Wed for door day. I am teaching a workshop all next week, but I'll try and get my homework done ahead of time.
Anyone CAN post a comment. They just need to tap the button below that says name/ url or anonymous. I'm not sure if they can get follow up comments like that though.
Hope that helped.

Elizabeth- Count me in!

Also, go to your blogger dashboard, then the settings tab, then click on the comments link at the top of the page. This brings you to the "who can comment" option, and you can make your selection.
