Sunday Details

Doorstep on douar Grouar - which is where you get to if you walk down derb djedid the opposite direction from derb Dabachi.

A hair salon with cool wall.

Textures, as usual............

Slippers. These are the simple kind I like. Lots of bobbles but not gold or silver or pointed toes.

So many roses here, and the traditional woven fruit basket.

Love the checkerboard steps. How fun.

I don't suppose you want to start taking orders on those slippers? They look like they're made of the softest leather and the colors are divine.

Such lovely photographs, as usual. I love the little star on the door with the chequered steps, and those gorgeous, strokable fuzzy peaches are making me drool! And the textured, peeling, battered door... joy!

These are beautiful images - I love the way color is used with such abandon. And your portraits (from the previous post) are wonderful - enhanced by the fact that the subjects are part of your daily life.

Thank you for stopping over at my blog and for the prayers for my brother. I will be sure to tell him!

I love your blog. It's so interesting. I'm putting you down on my favorite list so I can read and learn more about life there.

Love the photo of the door knob. Yes, very textural.
