just beautiful! that sky is amazing and the ancient door is fascinating, i'd love to see what's behind it.
Wow! What history in those old walls and stairs... Really makes me appreciate the old worlds and also how young America really is...
What I love about Essaouira are the Stars of David carved above the doors of the Jewish houses in the medina, combined with the Portuguese Colonial door frames. So chic, I think.
Dear AestheteSadly the Jewish part of town is in great disrepair......needs lots of work but most interesting.
I love Essaouira! I would love to live there someday. Who knows? : )I hope you make it to the beach and that it isn't too crazily windy. I know how that it is when the sand pokes your eyes!!
I love all those old doors. I long for the beach-Have fun.
Wow...love the contrast of those blue doors on the old stone!
I'd love to visit there! Just walk the streets and look at the houses. It must be amazing to walk around the battlments and imagine the history there. Oh to be a cat!
Love the door One picture makes me think of an old castle. I visited many in Germany and Holland
Redolent of another era...a long-vanished past...
