Marrakshi Cats

This is Ollie sitting in the sun on the roof - not looking as if he needs any care packages yet.

At the garden center this character is checking for birds.

In the medina, it is useful to live above a fish shop.

I'm not sure what this yellow plastic cat ( species undetermined) will catch amongst the ivy and beside the Berber tent peg on the fountain in the courtyard.

How stylish to color co-ordinate yourself with your background................

This blue-eyed lovely hangs out - like so many of today's youth - at MacDonalds in Gueliz.
She thinks our offering of one French fry rather stingy.
I am making a small - very small - collection of dog pictures to post in the future.
Slim pickings, I'm afraid.

Hanging out at McDonald's, like so many of today's youth! Elizabeth, that made me smile wide, right after the first smile, your comment on the would-be leopard!
Re your comment:
Maybe we should plan a big bloggies at the Carnevale di Venezia next year? It is truly worth going there, I assure you. :-)

Wow! Merisi.
Let's do it!
Let's invite all the people in the blogosphere who love beautiful places and friendship and so forth
and we can sit at Florian's and sip hot choc.
I'm serious, it really could happen.

You asked about where abouts in England I am, We we live between chichester and guildford, more near chichester, in a little village called heyshott, its the windiest place ever, as the wind sweeps along the southdowns and our little villlage is nestled in the north face. Its very pretty though and the wind and rain has stopped today and we have sunshine all the birds are busy and very happy for sunshine. Captain Rupert is enjoying a few rays at the moment. I did see PG blog post on Oxford, it has lovely buildings and I will go to the botanical gardens next time. I send you virtual English vibes or something so you won't feel homesick today and some virtual whiskas for all the kitties.

It saddens me to see the homeless. But still these Felines are still beautiful Elizabeth! I love cats and animals in general. Sending you a bright smile!

Oh, I love cats! Thanks for the show...

When I visited that general area of the world years ago, briefly, I noticed all the cats were long legged, short haired and siamese shaped though not siamese colored, and they had the most awful croaking meows! Well, you've seen the Egyptian paintings of cats...they all resembled that long, lean sort of cat.

They seemed to have a hard life...but many I was only seeing the feral cats.

Ooooh, how wonderful that would be to sit at Florian's and enjoy life with some bloggy acquaintances...sigh!

Dear all blogging chums:
We are off to New York tomorrow to celebrate our son's 30th birthday and do various business type things though I have stored up some fun images for while I'm away.
If I do not get back to you for a little while it means I'm jet lagged and more stupid than usual.
But I will get back to you in the end.
Still no Whiskas but Ismail has promised to scour the universe looking for it.
I told him really it didn't matter as long as they had SOMETHING to eat.
Hugs.

I love kitties and since I don't own one I must live vicariously through your photography. Thank you for the lovely pictures.

And thank you for the felicitations on the birth of my grandson. He will be going home from the hospital to two cat brothers, Touchy and Hobbes.

I can't think of anything to make a rooftop garden more perfect than a few felines companions--You have a fine space and I'm certain they're quite deserving of it!
